Across Arcadia is one of three murals commissioned for Accrington town centre through a partnership between Hyndburn Borough Council and Super Slow Way, alongside new works by Robert Walker and Abigail Hampsey. Made in collaboration with local communities, the three pieces draw on the town’s wartime history, the Accrington Pipe Band, and its industrial past and the generations that follow. The murals were unveiled at a public parade through the town on 1 August 2026, setting off from the Avenue Parade Memorial Space. The commission was funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
