Who we are

This website, jamieholman.co.uk, is run by Jamie Holman, an artist based in Blackburn, Lancashire (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for any personal information collected through this site. Questions about this policy can be sent to jamieholmanartandmusic@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you email us: your name, email address and anything you include in your message, such as enquiries about sales, commissions, exhibitions or press.

When you buy or commission work: the contact, delivery and payment details needed to complete the sale.

When you visit the site: anonymous information about how the site is used, such as pages viewed, rough location (country or city), device and browser type, and how you arrived.

We do not collect sensitive information, and this site has no accounts, forms or mailing list.

How and why we use it

To reply to enquiries and manage sales, loans and commissions. Our legal reasons are that you have asked us to, or it is needed to agree or carry out a sale or commission.

To keep financial records. We are legally required to keep these.

To understand how the site is used and improve it.

We will never sell your information or use it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

The site is hosted by Framer. Framer’s built-in visitor statistics do not use cookies and do not identify you.

We also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*) that last up to two years.

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Refusing will not affect how the site works.

Who we share it with

We only use trusted services that help us run the studio and this website: Framer for website hosting, Google for Google Analytics and for email, and our accountant for financial records where needed.

Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. When they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK law.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails: up to two years after our last contact, unless they lead to ongoing work.

Sales and commission records: six years, as required for tax purposes.

Google Analytics data: deleted automatically after 14 months.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, object to or limit how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time.

To make a request, email jamieholmanartandmusic@gmail.com. We will reply within one month. We are a small studio and do not have a data protection officer.

Other websites

This site links to other websites, such as Instagram and press articles. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
